The 2013 Lean Startup Conference is coming up, Dec. 9-11 in San Francisco. It's a great event (4th year running I believe) that's focused on helping entrepreneurs learn from each other, and learn about 'lean' startup principles. I'm particularly interested, because we're big believers in applying elements of lean principles to corporate new ventures as well. There's a lot to learn from entrepreneurs, and a lot of leading companies like GE, Intuit, Amazon, and others are embracing the concepts as well. There's a danger though in large companies trying to blindly emulate startups. The concepts of MVP's and in-market experimentation need to be added to the unique contexts for product companies and other large brand companies.
Hope to see you there!
