The 2013 Lean Startup Conference is just around the corner, December 9th – 11th, and this year’s event is seeing even more participation from large, corporate companies interested in leaner operation and more thoughtful business models.
This year’s program is full of information for entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, non-profit heads, and everything in between. The focus is to bring business leaders together in an environment of education and innovation, inspiring collaborative thinking and lasting connections.
I’m a firm believer in the power of businesses coming together for mutual benefit, and when it comes to lean operation, the corporate giants have a lot to learn from startups and entrepreneurs. By coming together with smaller businesses and entrepreneurs (at events like these), the big guys have a chance to become more “entrepreneurial” through partnerships, joint ventures, and even the simple exchanging of ideas – all of which lead to improved practices forward progress for all.
